Case Studies Introduction
The following Case Studies are examples
of actual situations. The dilemmas and concerns faced by
families and carers and ‘at risk’ people in these and other case
studies have been taken into consideration during the design phases of
the ‘Safe Return Home’ system. The needs of people with
medical conditions are also addressed by Safe Return Home. A primary goal of
the system is to significantly improve the outcome of cases
like these and to reduce carer stress. How the Safe Return Home system would
have helped in these situations is also discussed in the case
study scenarios.
